From the 12th to the 21st of October, GESICO Municipality,
“The 27th Snails Festival”
19th of October from h. 16.30 to all the evening, main event of the Snails Festival.
This festival received a prize also from the national UNPI as “high quality Festival “”.
It is a culinary event and it is dedicated to Saint Amatore, Bishop and African Martyr. For the 27th edition, over 400 exhibitors are expected, as well as lots of Music, Conferences, Exhibitions and the Fair dedicated to Agriculture. There will be two cultural themes: The Snail in Medicine “, and” The Route of Sardinian-African Saints in the Mediterranean “. A lot of culture and food & wine. The Gesico Proloco was founded in 1991 and has always been involved in promoting the resources of the territory, from history, to traditions, music and folklore. It organizes many different events.
